EXPLORING MADRID

Sunday is one of day that we feel lost, we are happy to rest and at the same time ...
sad because we have to work on Monday. I think that happen to everyone, we don't know what to do, the most important is to spend our Sunday in something that we like and with people that we love, I like to relax and rest practicing yoga or tai chi and having a nice breakfast. When is sunny I enjoy to go for a ride in the parks in downtown Madrid, is one of the main european capitals with a big space of green area so I profit of this amazing opportunity to breath some fresh air in the morning.

Yesterday I went for a walk and I had a nice relaxing coffee at a nice cafe close to Palacio Real, it's a great place, incredible historical and beautiful. Palacio Real of Madrid is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city but is only used for state ceremonies, the royal family do not reside there. The palace is on the site of a 9th-century fortress, called mayrit, constructed as an outpost by Muhammad I of Córdoba and inherited after 1036. It's has 135,000 square metres of floorspace and contains 3,418 rooms, is the largest palace in Europe by floor area.

People come from the whole world to visit this amazing place, this Sunday I have enjoyed so much that pretty castle, it was sunny, a bit cold but the perfect plan to relax after a stressful week.
